My name is Brianna Wimer, and I'm a third year Ph.D. student at the University of Notre Dame in the Computer Science and Engineering department. I have the privilege of being advised by Dr. Ronald Metoyer. In addition, I'm a visiting student researcher at the University of Washington where I am also advised by Dr. Jennifer Mankoff in the Make4All lab.

My research focus is on Human-Computer Interaction and Accessibility, with a special emphasis on visualization. I am deeply committed to understanding, designing, and developing technologies aimed at improving access to data for individuals with disabilities. My ultimate goal is to create accessible interactive systems for data visualizations, enhancing both understanding and engagement for users with vision impairments.
