Jiarui Xia

About me

I’m a second-year graduate student in the Department of Industrial System Engineering at University of Southern California. I worked with Prof. Diego Gomez-Zara in the summer of 2023. We focused on utilizing text analytics to predict different team and individual attributes, such as team trust and individual contribution. My research interest centers on understanding how humans interact and communicate on social media through text analytics, social network analysis, and other computational methods.

Outside of research and study, I love movies (especially realistic movies), music (pop ballad), and traveling with my friends.
